Do you know what I hate most? I hate it when people take pictures of Japanese rock artists and claim that they are their friends and use then in their art work!!! ESPECIALLY IF THEY GET A GOOD GRADE!
I would like to ask this jrock community to help me get this person in my art class disqualified. For the sole purpose of flaming, I will dub her name as Dookie, from now on. The graphic below are the twelve pictures that Dookie submitted. I was probably the only one in the class who knew that picture 5 was not, in fact, this person's friend and was actually member of Plastic Tree. Who here is actually friends with the vocalist from Plastic Tree?!!? My point exactly. However, my teacher wants evidence that my accusations are true. Picture 6 is Kyo from Dir en Grey, but I can't find the original picture! Please help me identify these people or post the picture that you know they came from!!!

(here are larger versions of the pictures...they're kind of pathetic, but sadly, Dookie is getting somewhere with these copied pictures *sad*)

This is the picture that Dookie used to produce picture 5.

Now, I know some of you are like ﾂ"What ever, who really cares!ﾂ", but Dookie is most likely going to a good art school such as Harvard or the art school in New York. Fair to take a picture of a jrock artist (which is copyrighted) and just draw flowers on it and change the contrast AND get into a flipping sweet school? Nope. Absolutely not. Thank you for your time in reading this long flaming/angry/whatever message ^___^

Picture 9 – Satochi or Miya (MUCC) OR Tora (alice nine)
Picture 10 – Miyavi
Picture 11 – Shin (Kagrra)
Picture 12 –

*ones in red already have the original picture.

This is scandalous, I'm not sure more of which on whose part (yours or hers) ...

Nonethless, I find it amusing so I'll help. The first one is definitely Miyavi as well. Do you need an exact picture that she copied or just to prove that it's Miyavi. This is pretty much the same picture as 1, she probably took a picture from the same photoshoot:

I think it's from this video (Rock no Gyakushu) because I can see a little bit of the skirt in her pic, in addition to the fact that the shirt, jacket, and necklaces are the same:

It's infinitely more difficult if you need the exact pictures. Maybe if you ask in the Miyavi thread, someone will be able to find the other ones (3 , 8, 10) , I've definitely seen them before.

What if she didn't copy exactly in all of them (like the Plastic Tree one), then does your teacher not believe you? Isn't it cheating either way?

ETA: Although it seems that she just copied all of them, from the evidence gathered so far.

Yeah. Copyright. You're not suppose to use another person's work in any way. If you do, you have to alter it 70%.

1,3,8,10 I can recognize as Miyavi from 1,000 miles away. I know exactly what pics 3,8, and 10 are taken from. If you give me some time I will be able to get the pics for you.

Here is #10 for now. The other two pics will need some digging. (Unless you go into the Miyavi thread and ask the people there. I'm sure a lot of them will have the pic on hand for you)

To me 7,9 and 12 don't look like they could be jrockers, but they might. With 12 it could be really hard to prove it because it's the back of the person.
 
wow...she has a really nice concept for design... reguardless if shes using or not using someone elses photo... did she actually hand draw these or like....just ps them like crazy?

if its ps'ed then i sorta agree that she shouldnt be allowed to use copyrighted photos but... she did alter them a lot? but still now a days ps is pretty simple to use to make things look "cool"
