Construction kit manual translation

Hi there, i have a Gundam construction kit.

But there is a chunk of the manual i don't understand. Too many kanji.
I have to cut, glue and paint all the parts in the kit. But there are some messages at each step.

these are all important warnings, so i can't just skip those.

I know this is a lot of work ... So anyone who can help me with this has my gratitude.

If the image is not clear enough, i can post a larger file with more detail.

-Don't eat the pieces
-Read the manual before constructing.
-Confirm the numbers, and cleanly remove each part. Throw away the remains (that frame it's connected to)
-There are sharp pieces. Don't cut yourself.
-Water-based paint [I think] is recommended.

I'm not so familiar with paints... even model paint.

Can you read the translation of the 14 icons at the bottom ? These are very important because one of them is given at each step of the construction.
I suppose these are, cut, paint etc ... Can you give these a try ?

The 14 items:

(Top row, from left to right)
Part/surface that must be glued
Seal code/number
Decal code/number
Parts that must be assembled on opposide sides
Assembly of identical parts from both sides
Assemble with careful attention to direction
Don't tighten the screw too much

(Bottom row, from left to right)
Part or object to be cut off
Make the number of units [of the part in question] as directed by the numeral
Part to be assembled first
Part to be assembled later
Rotate the part as shown by the number (degree)
Choose item and install
Move [parts on opposite sides] in symmetrical paths

I think you can figure out what they mean from the drawings!

I have one more question ... the 14 icons ... the one at the bottom left.

The kanji / kana say: kiri (the next one i cant remember) and then 'tokoro'.
what does this 'tokoro' mean here?

I know it's the same as "place", but not here right ?

"Kiri" means to cut and "tokoro" means "place." Tokoro is a pointer to location and does not specifiy what it looks like. In an assembly kit, it can be anything-- a joint, a component or chip or segment of a component. It's actually a word with very broad definition and therefore ambiguous. That's why I wrote: "Part or object to be cut off."

Ah, i understand ...

I was not sure if it also meant "place" in this situation or not.
Why is it written in hiragana ? Why not use the kanji?

I'm going to say so keep the balance like w/ the other icons. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it though. You'll see more examples of this in the future.
