'Knock' Yokoyama became Osaka Governor, [SIZE=-1]Yukio Aoshima[/SIZE][SIZE=-1] became Tokyo Governor and now today popular comic and entertainer [/SIZE]Sonomanma Higashi has become Miyazaki Governer. What is it about ex comedians that makes them run for office?

I find it particularly strange as the usual trend is not for comedians to become politicians but for politicians to appear like comedians....

That's a good one, craftsman!!

Corruption in that prefecture was so disgusting that the voters didn't want to vote for other candidates who represent pork barrel politics. I think that's the reason he got elected.

My bet is that he'll have to quit mid-term for "unethical sexual encounter with a juvenile" again!!
