Christmas rabbits??

While searching for Christmas images to make my avatars this year , I'm seeing tons of rabbit images. I don't think there is a tie

to Christmas and rabbits here in the US. Is there another country where rabbits and Christmas go together??

In the UK, it's customary to invite a ferral rabbit to join one's family for Christmas dinner and, at the end of the occasion, grasp them by the hindquarters and throw them over one's garden fence, rotating them around one's head a few times for extra distance. Prince Albert introduced German tradition to us.

Do you have the same problems like people do with cats? Can't swing a cat without hitting a vacar for example.

He who swings cats will be banished to the very hot area below.

In the UK, cats are considered sacred so no! Vacars are safe from impact from rapidly rotating cats!
