Can't seem to let Japan go..

Hi guys.
I live in america and have been interested in japanese language and culture for a long time.

I had lived in Japan on homestay for a year. Unfortunately the homestay wasn't a very pleasant experience (very strict) and I lost enterest in due to it. Since then on and off I have started to become interested again and am currently trying to relearn Japanese.

This forum seems like a great place to help rekindle my motivation!

It's the same for me as it has been an on and off personal hobby for me.I've recently rekindled my life-time interest in Japanese culture in early June after several years of absence.
