Can someone help me fix this

I was in the chat tonight and then it kicked me out which didnt really bother me beacuse it has happened before but when i tried to get back in the chat it wouldnt let me the page would just sit there. So i was wondering if someone could please help me fix my java so i can get back in.

Check you've got the latest java version first.

Hmm, in which case maybe you should download Mozilla Firefox first and try again

Recently, exactly the same happened to me as well, using Firefox and the latest Java
Had to reboot the PC to get the chat working again.
Now that I upgraded to Firefox 1.0PR, the Chat doesn't work at all anymore...
Well, that's Java
Would be really nice if there would be a non-Java alternative...
