Hello all, first time poster here.
My grandpa shot these photos in 1946 when he was living in Japan. He doesn't remember the name of the temple, but he wants me to take a picture of myself in front of the same place. Ya know, generational continuity and all. I'm living in Kyoto now, and since he's 90 I would like to find this place while he's still alive.
Any tips, leads, or even educated guesses would be great. Also, sorry for the small file size. Obviously the originals were tiny as well.
