Business letter - understood

I have set phrases I use for "thanks for your reply" or "please do this..." But I haven't settled on a good response to requests to me.
For example if somebody asks me to follow up on something, what's the best (business polite) way to say, "I understand, I'll follow up on that."
Would かしこまりました be appropriate or is that usually a verbal response?
 
I think 了解しました/了解いたしました would be the most common.

I have used that with colleagues before but I thought perhaps it was a little casual.

Well if you think it's fine, that's good enough for me. 了解 is a word I use frequently already. I'll use 承りました if I ever feel the need to get fancy.
