Perhaps Brzenski coming out like this truly shows a split in the ruling class.

Afterall, Brzenski bragged back in 1998 that the US was in Afghanistan 6 months before the USSR was. And that the US dragged the USSR into the Afghan trap. So, the USSR did not invade Afghanistan. That is not the truth about what happened. The US provoked the whole thing. And millions of Afghanis have suffered for it.

Thing is, are they crazy enough to do something like attack their "own people"?

There's a lot riding on this stuff for them.
They are war criminals for having waged a "war of agression" in Iraq.
Even Republican Texas congressman Ron Paul has called it that.

Plus they seem to be defending their religion: corporatism.
They seem to equate a legal construction that could not exist without laws as some how needing to be "free" of government constraints.
