Does that mean you believe in this Judeo-Christian stuff ?

... no, not really, but I can't fail to be amused by the countless coincidences, and especially the accusation... :D

Did you know that the antichrist isnt a devil of any sort? The bibles explainations of the real antichrist are complete bastardations.

Sites like that irk me to no extent.

Oh, and also, 666 is the mark of the beast, has nothing to do with the coming of the real antichrist, and did you know that the beast was actually the guardian of a Sumerian god? One of the Sumerian Supreme, in fact. The original Necronomicon explains this in detail.

Isnt it funny that the old testament makes references to other 'heathanistic' faiths as truths? Sorta contradictory of the 'one god' idea.

And that site mentions a 'satanic' salute.....GRRR!!!!

The 'salute' it makes reference to was actually a sign created by the artist Dio during a concert some 20 years ago. It was just to rock, had nothing to do with Satan, and still has nothing to with Satan.

GRRRR!!!!!!

yeah... the salute, I agree, but to see bush do it is kinda fun anyways...

well, I haven't read too much about the summerian civilisation cause info is hard to find (if you could help, Id appreciate :D)... but I do know that the bible (old testament) has some stories from other cultures that it put into a giant mixing pot with its own message and then stewed nicely...

Bwahahahah!

Damn! First he steals the election, then he tries to steal my job... j/k

BTW: If you read the Bible, God doesn't actually say that there aren't other gods--he just says his people aren't supposed to worship them...

...in fact, the wording of the first commandment seems to indicate that there are other gods:

"I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not worship any other Gods, thou shalt not create any graven images."

Sounds to me like he said right there that there were other gods, but maybe his grammar just slipped...

The so-called "unified translation" of the Bible that is commonly used nowadays really doesn't have that much to do with the original Bible anymore, as they stretched and twisted things quite a lot however they saw fit.
For e.g. in the original version of the old testament in ancient Hebrew, there isn't only one "God" or "the Lord" as they want us make believe, but rather 12 distinct persons: GD, JHWH, HSM etc. (ancient Hebrew script was purely consonantic, vowels weren't written). That these aren't just names for one person, but several persons, is indicated by the frequent use of the plural which even transpired into today's translations:
Creation story: "Come, let us make the human after our likeness."
Tower of Babel: "Come, let us go down and confound their language..."
etc... countless other examples abound.
Now, either there was just one person who was extremely schizophrenic (very unlikely), or there were several persons indeed.
Another pitiful excuse that is brought up by some one-god-defenders is that it would be "pluralis majestatis" (plural used by royalty to refer to themselves). This is utter nonsense, since this only started to be used during the renaissance, several hundred years later.

Also, as Winter already said, especially the old testament is a mixture of all sorts of stories, not only form the Sumerians, but from many others as well. They just picked whichever stories they liked, completely regardless of their origin, and then put them in after a little tweaking here or there.

For those who are interested, here is the Jewish Bible, a better translation of the original Bible where you can see the different names:
Jewish Bible (JPS 1917)

LMAO

I know--I think my all time favorite change was the addition of the devil. Up until a certain time, the bible had no mention of him, then all of a sudden they changed it to say that all the mean things god had done were actual done by "satan"--the whole Job thing, for instance.
