Although I can understand why they would want to ban Fred Flintstone's Winston commercials because it probably isn't a good influence on kids, the Spiderman one is sad...

I heard about the Spiderman edit. From what I can gather it delayed the release of the film because they wanted to take out the Twin Towers. A friend of mine actually got a copy of the film without the edit. I do agree it is sad. As for Fred Flintstone smoking, dreadful, disgusting, should be drinking instead
