Are bumper stickers universal?

I don't have strong opinions about bumper stickers or anything, but I have to admit that some of them make me laugh, and this is one of the small things I've noticed that they have in America and not in Japan.
My ex-coworker had so many bumper stickers that covered both sides of the very rear windows.
I've seen a few funny ones, but I think a lot of them, especially with the names of politicians are not brilliant.

I'm curious if they are universal and people put them on their cars in other countries besides America.
Do you have them in your country?

They aren't at all common in the UK. The one you see most often is "Baby on board". I've never really seen the point in that one. Are we supposed to think "Oh, I was going to run in the back of you, but I won't now I know you've got a baby"?!

I have seen them in Belgium and other European countries, but they aren't vert common. I think they used to be more common 20 years ago. I personally don't like them (esp. when it's overdone like on the picture above)

we used to get bumber stickers after visiting attraction parks.. VERY ANOYING,,, a 5x10 sticker on your backwindow!!!

i havnt been to attraction parks for a while, so i dont know if they still do that here... you got this cars with like 20 stickers on their backwindow... funny to see were they went!!!

we can design them on the i-net, or buy them in the ciggaret store ... with text on it like, "IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOU ARE TO CLOSE, BACK OFF" etc

Yeah, "Baby on board"... I think they actually have that one in Japan too.

I though they were kind of popular among the hippies since I've seen a few very old VWs with many stickers, that usually said something about nature, animals or environment.
Then again, I've seen some trucks with them on, which had more direct messages that are sometimes offensive.

I dont like them either.... i seen one or 2 in belgium. My neighbour had smth like attention examplary driver on board or smth like that...

I don't like the bumper stickers with the ones where parents are bragging about their child being an honor roll student. For some reason I find this annoying.

Anyways, bumper stickers can be fun to read, but I don't like how people go overboard with them. People should spend more time driving and less time reading what's on the back of someone's car.
