Any research labs in need of new Research students?

Hello MEXT Kenkyuusei sempais! And everyone else!
I thought I would start out a thread on "looking for profs."
While we all do our thing, looking for prof to admit us, I want to ask our MEXT sempais if they have any research lab willing to accept new research students! LOL
I wanna do research on migrant workers, field of international relations, asia pacific studies. Any advice out there?

I think the best way to find prof is to search through universities.
e.g. enter univ site -> go to the web site of department you want to study -> get the list of profs and start to sending them a letter.
btw, it is good for you to try as many prof as possible, because if you find one and send email only to him, and wait for his answer, you can waste a lot of time, if the result will be unsuccessful, so good luck!
