Now that Japan is off the state of emergency, have you all gone back to work?

I know the language schools that teach Japanese are in dire straits . I won't go into the stories other then, when the shtf them people , no job , loss of income that they earned, but not paid.
Anyway, the real economy in Japan has long been exported to other countries.
Other then fishing, farming and "home grown " manufacturing jobs , Japan should just close its doors to the outside world.
Hmm, seems to me they did that. :)

Some schools seem to have switched to online classes. I know from a Japanese acquaintance that Shane's have resumed their one-on-one classes. Of course, students and teachers have to wear masks.

I'd hope that schools with lesson booths are making other arrangements. At the eikaiwa where I worked in the late 90s, the room was barely big enough for three students and the teacher to be crammed around the small table - and the staff would sometimes show up with a folding chair and a fourth student.
