I really want to know the details behind it, though. Whether it was a matter of "If we go major, we'll sell out", the label saying "We don't like him", or something else entirely. I suppose we won't know for sure, but still. I wish we did.

And answers to it:
We can't tell what goes on behind the scenes, but I think it's much more likely to have been the first case. I highly doubt it would have been the label's decision because Bou was pretty much the most popular member. Most of the fanbase was distraught when he left, so the band took a big risk when they made that decision. Again, I doubt a major label would take that kind of risk.

Or it could have been he was already thinking about leaving when they got the offer, which made it a more urgent decision. It wouldn't have been good if they'd just gone major and then he decided he definitely wanted to leave.

wow that's awesome! and it's about time, they deserve to be major, they've been bigger than most indie bands for a while now. I hope it has nothing to do with bou leaving though. I also hope that now it will be easier to get their DVD's lol
 
I don't really understand what it means that they now have become a major band, but I guess, based peoples reactions, that it's a good thing. ;D But I think it may have had something to do with the fact that Bou left when he did. Better to do it before than a bit afterwards, ehfs. ^^; But with the thought that he already have had that decision in his mind even before the major-thing, of course! :'o

Today An Cafe are on an airplane on their way to Germany, wiiiiwiii. x3 They all five wrote about it in their diary, mohaha! x) Hope their visit and everything will be good. ^-^ Aw, I would so like to be there! :'o
 
Major... so I think that they'll change their style a little because of that xD But I don't know what I have to think about it.. just wish them luck :D Maybe it's beacuse of new members... hm.. will see :D

I'm happy that they became major, they really do deserve it!!! Of course becoming major means that there will be some differences, maybe Bou was afraid of losing his personality, but I doubt it. AnCafe are strong and I think that they will ever be that nyappy band with colofull clothes and bright smiles no matter under what lable they are!!!

Earlier they were signed to a indie lable (independent lable), that means those are little lables who aren't supported by a big company, often they only have bands of their own countries and due to that they don't have that much money for example photoshoots and videos. Now that they are signed to a sub-lable of Sony Japan (which belongs to the Sony group) they will have more money to make videos, photoshoot, they will be even better supported while making music, cause they are now part of the Sony group, a world-wide company. I hope I could help you^^

i did know my mum would allow, so i asked her and she said yes. ^^ but i'm living in cologne and it's holidays at the moment. ^^

i love BondS ~kizuna~. x3 it's such a good song and pv. and the movie brought me on the idea to make bonds for me and my friends, 'cause i have to move away...:eek: but now we are connected. :-)

Mhmm, Bonds ~Kizuna sure is a nice song/pv/movie too. o(^-^)o I actually have "made" an own red bracelet that I always wear as a bond to An Cafe, like the ones Teruki talked about in the interview Nan Desu Ka posted before. ^-^

nyappy everyone! I just got a new Siamese kitty! it's a girl and we named her Miku <333 little obsessive over ancafe? Maybe lol. Mostly I just wanted a cute japanese name and I knew for a while that I liked the name miku, for more than one reason lol we may end up getting another one as well, if we do, we've already got it all planned out, it'll be a boy kitty named Takuya (taku or ta for short =])

anyway here's little miku, she's so sweet <333. oh and for some reason the date is way off on my camera lol I better check on that XD
