SB: In the June issue, we announced that An Cafe was the Rising Star winner in the Shoujo Beat ANnual Music Awards. Since then, one of your original members, Bou, has left the band and you've added Takuya on guitar and YU-KI (lol what) on keyboards. How have the new members changed the dynamic of the music?
AN CAFE: It may be hard to notice on CD, but our live sound got richer from having YU-KI play keyboard.
SB: There's some debate among fans in the US about whether you're an Oshare Kei or Visual Kei band -- what do you consider yourselves?
AN CAFE: You can call us either one. But if we have to categorize ourselves, we'd say "An Cafe-kei"!
SB: Many Visual Kei bands are thought to be somewhat melancholy, but An Cafe has the reputation of being upbeat and positive. Are you different from your Visual Kei brethren?
AN CAFE: We think so. We don't limit ourselves to what many people think Visual Kei artists should be.
SB: There's obviously an element of androgyny in your appearances -- so, who in the band is the cutest, and who is the most stylish?
AN CAFE: The one with the cutest look is Miku and the one with the cutest heart is YU-KI ( what is up with that spelling of it? ) *laugh*. The dark one is Kanon.
SB: Where do you shop for your clothes?
AN CAFE: Harajuku!!
SB: How was it playing the last concert with Bou when he was leaving?
AN CAFE: WE wanted to make the concert a place where the rest of the band members, together with our staff members and Cafe-kko, would show our appreciation to Bou for the wonderful four years that he was in An Cafe.
SB: How do you feel about your "Cafe-kko"?
AN CAFE: They are our source of energy and part of our family. We support one another.

AN CAFE: Not yet! We want people all over the world to use this word.
SB: Why did you come up with that word?
AN CAFE: We came up with it because we wanted a common language with our fans.
SB: There's a rumour that Kanon got his name from a manga series--which is it?
AN CAFE: Yes, that's true. It came from a manga by Kusumoto Maki.

what does everyone think of the new single?! i bought it, and it's packaged so pretty! but the song itself is a little eh to me... the other songs on the single i like though, and the pv is SO PRETTY... i really like it... the pv actually makes me love the song while im watching it... too bad that feeling doesnt stay ;_; its just the chorus, i think... its cliche and i dunno...

It's normal that Miku say he doesn't want to be married or have childs cause he's a Jrocker, he doesn't want that fans bore him a lot with being married and all..... But maybe he secretely dream about a family. an indication is that he said a good relation with a musician is : secret.... So, I think that he dream to have someone, not being married, but have a secret relation.
And what I find very cuty is that he's too shy to be with someone in the middle of the street. ^^
Btw I see that many don't like so much the new An cafe (like me). I find it a bit sad.... I do hope they'll change and go back to very good music they used to do.

Though I really really think it's so very sad that meant Bou left, too, I think the other positive reactions from the restart sort of ways it up. (But I DO miss Bou so much! ;-; ...just wanted to make that clear ;3) But... umm. This new songs aren't that strong as An Cafe music can be, but they're not bad, I definitely like them.
