Amita: yeah I think I heard a few discussions about how it is called because the kanji can also mean rainbow = niji or sth and so it's not that bad you thought it to be nijiro^^ the translation which is in the booklet is "Iris"

Omg, I'm still starting to grin like a fool when I think back of shou standing there and smiling all the time while giving the interview......
tora was just like *cool desu* B-/
and by the time shou seemed to have realized: hey, those people love me, so why not tease them a little bit more..? xD then he looked for a while around the crowd and in a moment were the screams became a little bit quieter he formed a heart with his fingers and the people went "KYAAAAA~~~!!!!!!!!" again....
you could see on his face that it pleased him very much to have such an stimulating impact on us xD

I don't claim that this is what's meant in fact, but to me this part:

seems like shou's asking a beloved person to let go of their former life together and their memories (which could be that garland) and of him, because he has died....

and despite all he wants that person to be happy without him and not to grieve for him.

^ I always love Shou's lyrics .... they're all sad and full of emotions and feelings~~~!!!! like Ruri no Ame, Kousai, Time Machine and all the others! and now, Eraser..... they're all so beautiful and sad!

@RukaNightmare: you're totally right about those high notes^^ generally I adore it when j-rock vocalistst are singing that high, especially shou and hyde...

but despite that shou's lyrics didn't lose any emotion, I have the feeling that in newer songs such as kousai or 9th revolver arisu's sound fits better to these emotions...
of course we all know how shou's voice developed very much (just compare the tour finals of Alice in Wonder Film and Hello, Dear Numbers!) and now the sound of the instruments can carry it better, I think....
I know people who say that alice9's style became worse lately... and that they wish them to return to the old, darker sound which they like better.
still I think the five should do it the way THEY want it and as long as they can reach fans with their music it's okay, isn't it?
returning to something which lies behind you isn't always a solution. we have to look forwards, right?
eventually, music stays music, no matter in what form, and it's main intent will always be to move people...
and for me, alice nine's music has not changed it's meaning, old style or new...
