Alice Nine

wow that's a surprise, all three songs on the new single are pop[/thicksarcasm]
I'm beginning to think alice nine is going to j-pop. For me this album is going to be a big deal, it's time to put up or shut up for A9. This album will tell me whether they are going to be the alice nine I know and love or if they are completely going from visual kei to jpop. I dont think there is anything wrong to grow and mature with your music, but to pretty much completely change your style, it disappoints me. I'm not saying I absolutely dislike the new songs, they aren't bad at all, they are just disappointing. I know some of you will probably think bad of me for this post but I just miss arisu's older style, zekkaishoku was such a brilliant album and since then it's just gone down hill for me, it's just really sad. There have been some songs I've liked 13, White Prayer, Last Empire, Number Six, and Blue Planet, but even so, none as good as zekkaishoku...
what makes it worse is that the same thing is happening with one of my other favorite bands as well...AnCafe...

@NDK: I just read what you wrote Nan desu ka, and I agree. I'm starting to see that too. The whole sort of changing into jpop thing. I'm seeing that with alot of other bands. Yes An Cafe. It worrys me a bit. Hopefully the new songs will be awesomly amazing as the others were.

I think the only time alice nines music has really been Rock was a long time ago and of course Zekkaishoku, most of there music is like ballads XDDD
And maybe their just experimenting to see how it will sound...
I also agree with you on Ancafe, I couldn't really get into Kakusei heroism ;o;

Nan-chan- yeah, i think bad of you now!!! haha jk jk I actually understand what you mean! I also miss the old harder alice nine.To be completely honest i didn't like Jewels that much, well...i did like the guitar solo in it though. I miss being able to head bang to some of their songs.
I can see the big change in their sound too. But i still like the sound of it even though it's a completely different style. I guess i have a softer side too? :? But i really hope that they have at least one fast paced song in the new album.

zekkaishoku last year was pretty rock, there were a few balladesque songs but for the most part that was an awesome rock album, songs like corona, velvet, q, dead school screaming, nine heads rodeo show and some other stuff like red carpet going on which was on the nine heads single. They just felt like rock last year and slowly throughout this last year and a half they've moved more and more to jpop. It makes me wonder how tora can stand it cause he's always been very hard in his former bands and now, well now you get jewels and tsubasa and jpop. Again, I'm not saying I dislike their new stuff, I'm just saying I miss their harder stuff.

And i didn't really like Jewels at first but now i like it and it is definitly more pop-ish then anything i've heard by them so i was really suprised...
Like Nightmare, they've been making more ballads lately and i miss their rockish music ToT!
Let's just hope their new album dosen't let us down!
