The update after a long absent!

Thanks everyone for all the wishing messages and presents m(_ _)m

I'm a bit late because I thought I'll write blog after finish reading all of them. (laugh)

Because of everyone, my birthday became a day when I thought to myself that it's so good to be born.

Members too gave me a celebration at the recording studio, and I felt super happy ﾂ≫┐

Recently all I've been doing are making music, recording, and practicing for tour. There are many things I have to do but they are very fulfilling.

I was surprised to find out that I've lost 2 kg. (laugh)

Preparing for many more surprise to come in the next half of the year ﾂ≫┐

just keep practicing...most of their songs aren't that hard to play (only when it comes to some technique parts)...the harder things to learn are special techniques, different rhythm themes and stuff like that (at least for me...but my teacher is really good^^)

I'll just make it short and clear, I'm not ok with you taking my translation without giving me and Looking Glass credit. I posted my copyrights policy 2 months ago:

A: No. If you copy the whole thing or more than half on daily basis, I will seriously hunt you down and may consider to stop the translations entirely.
Q: What if I see something funny that they wrote and want to share it on my own blog?
A: I know that many of you guys write blogs and maybe you want to share something funny that the members wrote. As long as you quote it and give link to secret a l i c e, it is fine.
For example, "Look~ here's what Nao wrote today. 'quote quote quote'… " Then give me credit and provide a link to secret a l i c e.
But remember, DO NOT copy the whole thing or more than half everyday.
I check alice nine. blogs 3 times a day and I update the translation everyday.
Don't take other people's stuffs and claim them as yours and everyone think you did the work.

thank you Michellie for posting that as others of us don't go to the blogs (translated or otherwise) to read it there. some of us don't have time to.

and to ParadiseMiyabi:I understand your irritation with someone posting up your work. I am a graphics artist and have had other people do the same. the only difference was that those people 'actively' tried to pass it off as their own. Michellie never said it was hers, never said she translated it. only said 'hey look at what it says' thats it.

I support your right to state that the work is yours and that others should not use it without credit, but perhaps your way of saying so was a bit brutal toward a 16 year old child.

again, I am not faulting you for saying it is your work nor am I saying it was wrong to speak about it. only the way it was worded. "A: No. If you copy the whole thing or more than half on daily basis, I will seriously hunt you down and may consider to stop the translations entirely." even though this is stated on your policy is can still be seen as a threat of harm towards a person and can be considered real. (I have had to deal with this myself unfortunetly) threats online can be just as bad as threats in real life.
so in short to you I say please be careful in how you express yourself when coming forward to someone and telling them not to use your work. and on that same note, Michellie you should be sure to show ParadiseMiyabi the credit she/he deserves for doing all this hard work.
 
Michelliej has been stealing lyrics translation from Akatsuki for a long time so I don't think it's our problem of addressing our irritation. It's her problem of understanding the basic respect she should have to the people who actually do the work.

Besides, I think I'm doing her a favor here. I'm telling the problem right to her. She's 16 yes, and that's old enough to know that plagarism is wrong. Every school teaches "plagarism is bad" and what is she gonna do in her future if all she does is stealing other people's hard work?

Even if she never says "I translated this" but her action of posting it without giving me any credit or at least give a link to Looking Glass, in a way she is saying "This is my work" and that's stealing.
 
actually you're telling the problem right to the whole thread and not just to her. though I am sure you have your reasons. yes every school does teach plagarism is bad and I agree with you that she should have given credit. my point was only that she never stated in any way, shape, or form that the work was hers. only that she wanted to share it with others. I'm not going to say anything more about this as it is nowhere near on topic for this thread. I am sure Dutch Baka will likely be removing these posts (mine included) as soon as he see's them. this thread is for discussing the band Alice Nine. not airing personal grievances.
 
maybe you're trying to make the situation but im sorry you're not making much sense either. because even though she never said she did those translation, she accepted all those thank you posts as her own without saying anything. that's what pisses me off too.
 
revaanu: It bothers me how you're trying to defend michelle when Miyabi is the victim here. Maybe you don't understand because you don't do translations, but it's hard work. Most of us haven't even been taking Japanese for very long and rely heavily on the help of dictionaries, making the process even more time consuming. And it's 100% non profit, for YOUR benefit. If Miyabi gets out-of-hand ****** off, i understand because she has the right to. Because it really is an AWFUL thing michelle is doing.

The reason she's posting it in front of the whole thread and not personally to michelle, is because the whole thread should know what is going on.

In future ALL translations taken from another site must either be cited as source or a link connecting to that site. Any not showing source or link will be deleted. Not only could the breaking of copyright come into play, but it is also considered good manners to give recognition to the people who put in the work. Now put this thread back ontopic.
