About my part-time job.

Yesterday I have been kicked out of my parttime inwhich I worked for about 3 months. It's a supermarket's goods store , wasn't much of a good hourly rate. But it's a kinda job where many gaijins (especially philippinos) worked . That's why it was easy to get in and start unlike the rejection I found at many other alubaits. Well , no time to weep for the past. Today I'm just trying to figure where can I start all over again. The truth is I'm looking for the same kinda job , as I just wanna start on just as soon and work as much. I know there are many gaijins (philippinoos/chineses/tais...etc) who are doing this somewhere , but just don't know where to look. Anyone got any idea where to find a factory or someplace to apply ?? numbers shouldn't be so important , just even a name or place to go myself.
I can see how unclear this situation is , but I'm hoping on experienced gaijins to help me out , I appreciate any tips.
Do you know a store or factory where gaijins go to work ?? Is it between the area of tachikawa as far as shinjuku ??? Somebody please help.

You have my sympathy. I've been rejected for employment numerous times on the basis of being a gaijin.

The situation is very much like the children's story of the princess looking for Prince Charming. You'll eventually find something if you kiss enough frogs first.

Even with under-the-table work you really need some kind of employment references/credentials. I can't imagine hiring someone on the spot without knowledge of their previous work history beforehand. What kind of visa are you working under? How long is the duration of your stay? What kind of skills/abilities do you posess that you feel are marketable to the Japanese? Without knowing your nationality, your English seems pretty sound--better than a lot of the immigrant workers toiling away in some of the factories i've met. You really need to elaborate a bit more if you want specific suggestions how to improve your current situation.

Yeah I really found it wierd some company I called by phone used the term "The GAIJIN is DAME" Even though I use some sonkeigo which makes me look like a fluently japanese speaking gaijin ..

To tell the truth they hired me in the previous company without me having any work experience since it was my first job to do anyway. But perhaps it's ture since I had a brooker , he earned 50 ens for each hour I worked. so could it be he's the reference??

What kind of visa are you working under? How long is the duration of your stay?

I've got the student visa. with a working permission. As for abilities , it's not acually that I want to build a career here , I barely think my abilities would be worth it not being able to speak Japanese fluently yet. The thing of me , and probably many other students is we search for these kinda "anyone goes" alubaits. Truely , it's just a matter of money. I have not gone to university , so pretty much to now I have the chance of a japanese high school student and less at being hired , or so I believe.

As for my nationality , I really don' think it makes such a difference. And it's true that Im labeled as a "no nationality" in mygaijin card .
