Hello there once more guys, sorry, this time I cant type in kana because this computer doesnt have the jp packaged installed.

Nevertheless, I have a small question about how to express that I couldnt do something [in good time],[at a right time] or just [in time]

I'm pretty familiar with "ma-ni-au" and "pittari" (damn romaji), but how am I to express to someone (for example) that I couldnt see his/her facebook post, on time.(that is, I was late when I finally checked her message)

the following phrase seems pretty newbish for me, but thats how I answered to this real life situation:

"Sumimasen, kono post wo mite maniawanakatta"
Would, "osokunatta" do it?

As simple as it may seem(I took the N3 yesterday in my timezone) ,how to express this feeling in japanese is bugging me ~~

Thank you guys, any feedback is appreciated.

間に合わなかった and 遅かった are both correct, but この書き込みを見て間に合わなかった / 遅くなった means "I couldn't do something in time because I had seen this post". It should be 見るのが間に合わなかった / 遅かった.

Thanks Tori, double thanks to be honest, since you've helped me even beyond the original intention.

I didnt realize that mistake T.T
