As for that second comment. It's about time hyde beat him. hyde shimmers and shines with a more natural beauty. Gackt's contact lenses really turn me off.

The rankings as they stand right now are PERFECT! I could only vote once, but if I could put a second vote in, it would have been hyde.

But Gackt is perfect... ;_; Hyde is pretty sometimes, but I don't see what's so staggeringly amazing about him. And I've had enough Hyde pics to last for a lifetime (or six months).

Yeh. Too 'perfect'. No body should be perfect. I find slight imperfections very pretty. I just think Gackt's face is composed of all stereotypically 'perfect' models.

Put it all together and it's just not pretty anymore. I really don't wanna say this (cuz I'm gonna be killed by millions of fans) but he's got a plastic look to him. I'm sure many Jrockers have had some sort of surgery even if it's to remove a freckle on the face or something. But Gackt just really activates my "plastic alert" radar.

But Gackt isn't perfect. ^^ That's what makes him perfect. His nose bridge isn't completely straight & columella hangs just a bit. In rhinoplasty terms the angle of his nose to face isn't perfect either. His profile usually looks a bit weird. His eyes are uniquely shaped, but wouldn't really be stereotypically perfect in terms of size, i.e. like Hyde/Myv's. His lips... ok, that's perfect. I know he can look plastic, but some people just look plastic naturally.

Fangirl. But I do this to every face. I can point out imperfections in the most perfect, e.g. Myv. It's what I do to my face, so I generally have a love/hate relationship with it. >>

Well, he almost always strikes the same pose in every photoshoot, maybe that's why he seems so "plastic" to you. And Gackt isn't quite perfect, you know, everyone gets old. I'm starting to see that in him. He has many talents but he also makes many mistakes, regarding his personality.

I think this thread accounts "pretty" as on the inside as well as the outside. And I guess that's why Miyavi's at the top :]

If Gackt started posing like Miyavi, I'm sure he's going to start being considerably less plastic. Miyavi's just as perfect, if not more, but a lot of his pics and his style aren't serious. Gackt needs to smile and make fun of himself (a la u+k & soleil) more.

As for pretty on the inside--well, we don't really know, do we? It could be just a persona for the public, though it doesn't feel like that.

And yeah I understand your argument about how we ont really know them but its hard to keep up a face 24/7 sooner or latter you slip and you get a good immage from interviews too sooooo ...

(by the way seeing as how collecting avatars is like totally my hobby would you mind if i right clicked on yours? Id never reuse it id just keep it for my own personal enjoyment)
