The artist for Angel Sanctuary, Kaori Yuki, mentioned that she was a fan of L'arc en Ciel in one of her endnotes for the manga, so the similarity is not surprising (the English translator evidently botched the translation of the band name, however).

I think Rocial looks more like Kamijo personally. Yuki is also a fan of Luna Sea and Gackt (malice mizer days if time ref anything). Go figure....

I remember a very good Angel Sanctuary site that had comparisons of the characters and possible J-Rockers counterparts. The similarities were very striking. I think J (Luna Sea) was paired with Yue Kato. Kiyoharu (Kuroyume, SADS) was paired with Raphael (or maybe Michael... well, whoever was the short one). Madhatter was paired with Full (Guniw Tools). That's all I remember, though. The comparisons were all speculations, of course, but it was an interesting read.

Joice's use of the last name of Dadelus is clearly illustrating that the relationship he holds with his father mirrors that of Icarus and Dadalus in Luna Sea Yuki Kaori connection was the weirdest thin ever. Although its not as much of a shocker as larku which is a deepening of the sexual perversion that Stephen struggles with in the beggining of chapter 5.
