Hello,

I'm having trouble understanding the grammar of a verse in the following song:

(lyrics: Close Your Eyes 彩音 - 歌詞タイム)

花には風を 土には雨を 僕には愛を そして微笑みを
I thought they all share a common omitted verb but I can't find an obvious one. I found the song translated and this phrase is translated as "Your love and your smile would to me be like wind to a flower and rain to the earth ", but I still have no idea why it gives this meaning.

I thought this might be grammatically related to "目には目を、歯には歯を", but I can't find an explanation (if there is an omitted verb, or what には and を are doing) for this expression either.

You just need to guess the omitted verb/meaning from the context. My interpretation is 花には風を 土には雨を 僕には愛を そして微笑みを くれ.
As for the famous phrase in the Code of Hammurabi, 目には目を、歯には歯をもって報いる/報いよ.

There is another similar verse in that song. 空には歌を 窓には星を キミには夢を そして愛しくて
Would あげる fit here? 空には歌を 窓には星を キミには夢を あげる そして愛しくて ("I'll give the sky its melody, the window its stars, you, your dream; and then dearly...")
