I want to say "there are 4 seasons in one year" would
一年間によっつのきせつがあります be correct?

I also want to say "Various things you can only do in certain seasons" can I say:

色々なことがちがう季節ができます。

I like to help, so I'll try.
But just so you know, I don't know if these are right so you might wanna wait until someone better at Japanese comes along:

There are four seasons in one year. = 一年間には、季節が四つあります。ichinenkan ni wa, kisetsu ga yottsu arimasu.

There are various things that you can do in certain seasons. = ある季節にできる色々な事があります。 aru kisetsu ni dekiru iroirona koto ga arimasu.

Believe it or not, guys, you don't need the "in one year" part. A year is kinda-sorta defined by a cycle of seasons, with each coming only once per year.

2nd:
とくべつなきせつはいろんなことができます。

The second sentence sounds a bit awkward when translated literally. Here is what I THINK what it is meaning to say. I also put those 2 sentences together so it flows nicely.

一年には４つの季節があり、それぞれの季節にはその季 節なりのいろいろな楽しみ方があります。
Ichinen ni wa yottsu no kisetsu ga ari, sorezore no kisetsu ni wa sono kisetsu nari no iroiro na tanoshimikata ga arimasu

There are 4 seasons in a year and there are various ways to enjoy each one that is unique to that season.

OK, my English translation sucks mildly but I hope you can understand what I was going for.
