Hello all,

I have been working hard to try to verify if this 1,000 stitch belt I have is real or fake. It does shine under UV light more than I would like which is really what made me questionable to start. I completed a burn test and confirmed it is cotton. Any insight would be appreciated. Unfortunately, there is no prominence established. The condition of it is also really nice... too nice??

Thanks

I think its impossible to tell without a more forensic examination. The writing says "Praying for Good Luck in Battle". It isn't written very skillfully, but that isn't necessarily a deal-breaker. Looks like a coin stitched into it. No date on the coin?

Konnichiwa RHUSMC-san!

I think it's hard to tell if it's real or fake.

The coin is a "五銭:5-sen" coin maybe, minted between 1938 and 1940. But the photo is small and I'm not sure

Even if the coin is real, it doesn't mean this belt is real. Because this coin is still available on Amazon for cheap and easy purchase.
