"~ましょう"get the meaning of "Let's", doesn't it?
eg,行きましょう
eg, when かis added after it, it become"let me help you..."
eg, 重そうですね、待ちましょうか。

But me Japanese Boss said"行こうか" when he asked us to have lunch together
It make me confused about what occasion that "か" should be used after"ましょう"

だれか教えてくれませんか。

ありがとう。

at the end of a sentence, ka is just a question particle. When used with the volitional, I just think of it as "shall we...?" Without the particle, it's more like "let's..."

If I'm not mistaken, Japanese ppl also say 行きましょうか

行きましょうか is just a more formal version of 行こうか
