義理対義務: Differences

hi guys, i don't get when to use 義理 and 義務 in sentences. 義理 seems to express an obligation, something meant to be done due to a rule or a law.
義務 i think expresses the idea of doing something as a duty, just cause you've a determined position or status.

"An obligation/a duty, something meant to be done due to a rule or a law" is closer to 義務, for example, "payment of taxes" is 義務.
義理 is more likely an obligation/a duty in relation between people. It often has a nuance of what people should obey as a right action, and it doesn't always have a forced nuance.

Yeah, like 義理チョコ in Valentine's Day. Also there is this exceptional use for talking about some roles in the family as 義理の母、義理の兄弟、義理の娘、など [婚姻・縁組によって生じた親子兄弟姉妹の関係。]
Another use of 義理 could be a compensation for a given favor. If you do something for me, i feel in the 義理 to prepare or give you in exchange.
