This is only a test of the characters 窶捫窶ーJツ which I couldn't make come up correctly in the thread on it yesterday. Please ignore if it looks normal to you :p

Do you mean that they didn't work in the subject line?

For whatever odd reason, ame was getting crossed with "窶ーj" (swim) in the subject line regardless of which pronounciation I tried. In the body, it only worked as "baiu," not "tsuyu." :?

Do you mean you would convert it to 窶捫窶ーJ, and then when you hit "submit" it got altered?

Yeah, I thought it was working fine until I went to post.

Actually now that I think about it I may have been able to use "tsuyu" in the actual message, I was in a hurry and a little frustrated about the subject not displaying so I may not have been paying enough attention to that part. :sorry:

I don't know why it would do that. I just changed it to 窶捫窶ーJ in the subject line and it worked fine. I don't know what to tell you. :?

That's OK, Glenn....thanks for trying. 👍 I'm almost over the shock. At least everything worked fine for me today as well. Maybe one of the admins will have a satisfactory explanation. :-)

I had a similar problem today with ナ湛窶堋ー窶堙ゥ coming up as ナ遅窶堋ー窶堙ゥ in the subject line. Anyone have an idea what might be causing this ?
