盛る Transitivity?

is 盛る (もる) transitive verb or intransitive verb? it is listed as intransitive on edict, but all other evidence and Japanese 国語 dictionaries indicates it is transitive.

盛（も）る is transitive; I cannot think of any example using it as intransitive verb...

I have been learning verbs for the past few days, just realised how unreliable edict is when it comes to transitivity and homophones.

Edict don't even bother differentiate homophones used in Japanese.

For example, 硬い、固い、堅い would have the same definition, as applies to 上る、登る、昇る and others.
