Hi,
1. 「やーれ、やれ、わしゃ、年じゃで、こんなことはもう・・・ ・・・ファッジ、二時じゃったかな？」

(Probably obvious, but ファッジ is a person's name.)

a) What is 年じゃ?

b) What is 二時じゃった?


2. いつまでメソメソしてるんだ。過ぎてしまったこと今更 どうにもならないだろう。

Is the first sentence a question? Obviously いつまで looks like a question, but then ～んだ doesn't (to me).


3. 間口も広いが奥行きも同様に深い。

The grammar structure defeats me.

The speaker uses old people's dialect.

年じゃで ＝ 年なので

二時だった

2)
It works as a rhetorical question, thus, that sentence actually is a negative imperative.

いつまでメソメソしてるんだ ＝ いつまでもメソメソしてるんじゃない（＝メソメソするな）

3)
The subject(structure, house, room or like that) is 間口が広い, and similarly 奥行きが深い, too. (The two もs are for emphasis.)

2) Is this the usual ～んだ (= ～のだ) in a special interpretation, or is it a different ～んだ?

3) I can't grasp how 間口も/が広い can be a subject. Do you mean that this phrase acts as a noun?

That's the usual one; explanatory の/ん + copula. The female form is いつまでメソメソしてるの！

3)
I meant "the structure/house/room(which must be obvious from the context) is 間口が広い", not "間口が広い is the subject". Sorry if my expression was confusing.

So in (3) が is "but/and", yes?

Exactly. 間口も広いけど, 間口も広いし or 間口も広くて has the same meaning.
