I'm trying to translate

"At my high school we have weekly tests, but I usually do pretty well so it's not a problem."

Here's my attempt:

週間のテストは僕のハイスクールに在ります。 でも僕の点は通例の良いですよ。 だいしょぶ。

Please point out flaws in grammar, kanji usage etc. おねがいします。

ありがとうございます。

学校で、週間のテストを受ける。 でも、たいてい、点がいいから、大丈夫だよ。(問題ない。。。) ???

ありがとうございます。

The structure of more complex sentences is this not very clear to me, so I just needed to check how far I was off.

Would a Japanese person understand me if I said what I wrote in my original post?

週間のテスト could be interpreted as 習慣のテスト, that is, you would want to say "we have a habit of tests" or something like that. It's probably because 毎週 is more commonly used for "weekly" in that case. Also, 通例の良いです might not make much sense without kanji, I suppose.

Do you understand the errors now ? 学校で、毎週のテストがある may also work ?? :?

I went with 受ける as more standard as it refers to an actual sitting for/taking of the test.

Also you don't need to use kanji for ある。 Hiragana is fine.
