Is this sentence correct: 「昨日、映画の『用心棒』を見ていました。」 The thing that I'm most curious about is the apposition 「映画の『用心棒』」, as I can't find any easily accessible information about Japanese appositions, but I believe that I recall them being constructed with 「の」 like that. Also, 「見ていました」 is the correct tense, isn't it? どうもありがとう、皆さん。

I'd say kinou "youjimbou" to iu eiga o mimashita.
You actually might be able to get away with just youjimbou o mimashita, though, since the movie's pretty famous from what I understand.

Ah, I see. The literal meaning of this sentence is "Yesterday, I saw the movie that's named Youjimbou," right? Thank you, Glenn.
