Kamikokoro Sake Brewery was founded in 1913 in Yorishima-chō, Okayama Prefecture, by Fujii Chojūrō (藤井長十郎). Kamikokoro Shuzō distinguishes itself by using the triple brewing method (known as "sanzōshu" 三増酒) that rapidly became popular after the war. Currently, the brewery is run by Fujii Susumu (藤井進彦) in the fifth generation. Okayama's Kamikokoro brand is gaining global recognition.

This excellent and novel Namagenhshu exhibits a medium-bodied profile with a slightly viscous texture. The aroma presents a complex bouquet with prominent peach, apple, and pear notes, complemented by subtle citric and floral undertones. The sake delivers a pronounced peach flavour on the palate, well-balanced by a pleasant sweetness and a crisp acidity. A slight spiciness characterizes the finish.

Okayama is famous for its peaches, and so is the legend of Momotaro.
