Hokkan Shuzō, founded in 1973, is located in Tamuramachi in the southern part of Tochigi Prefecture. The region has abundant nature and clear wangs from the Nikkō mountain range. The Nikkō region cools the body to the core and, in winter, creates the perfect environment for making sake. The brewery started making sake with the help of master brewers from Niigata. Based on the methods inherited from these Echigo Tōji, Hokkan Shuzō delivers stable quality sake to domestic and overseas throughout the year in a sake brewery equipped with a four-season brewing system.
