Need Degree to get a Job in Japan

My short-term goal is to finish school at get my Master degree in Product and Process development then move overseas (Japan would be fantastic) to work with this. But I need help to finish my thesis.

I and my colleague are working with a global to research customer/users expectation of kitchen worktops. This research is cooperation towards the biggest kitchen worktop supplier in the world. The goal of this research is to improve the quality of the kitchen worktops.

I would really appreciate if you would answer our survey regarding kitchen worktops, help me finish my school and help everyone to get a better kitchen worktop.

My colleague and I have together created two surveys that takes around 2 min each, one about quality about the product and one about the information given about kitchen worktops.

The word "worktop" is a strange one. I don't think I've ever heard it before. Kitchen counter (counter top) seems more natural.

Both of your surveys are in English. If you expect Japanese to answer, good luck. Not many are here.

Both of your surveys have some odd questions, not only in the actual content but more so in the actual wording. Reread them and redo them. You should consider this as a pilot to iron out such wrinkles.

I don't know where you are coming from with this survey. It sounds like in one question that you expect people put food on the counter directly and cut it there, when in fact what happens is that people use cutting boards.

I don't know about homes, but my impression of Japanese apartments is that the kitchens are an afterthought.

Also, in my experience here in Japan, most kitchen counter tops are stainless steel anyway. And dinky! Barely enough space for that cutting board and a plate. Many/Most are called "kitchen sets" or something like that. The whole counter, stove place, and sink are one piece slapped into place. (and that "stove" is just a box with 2-3 burners and a tiny grill, as you know).

We do not expect anyone to cut food directly on there counter top/worktop it's a question we are asking to learn more about how customer use it. We most people do answer "only with cutting board", But there are some exceptions.

So your did read the whole survey without doing it? .'(

Countertop are most common in America, but generally in the world the word worktop is used.

Yet, your question #5 goes like this:
"Do you cut and chop on the kitchen worktop"
and the possible answers are yes, no, and only with a cutting board. Hmmm.

I realize you are from Sweden (by your avatar), but you could have asked a native English speaker to look over the language. Some of it is pretty odd. Take #4 for example:
"It occurs that you keep liquid on the surface of the kitchen worktop for a longer period of time "

I don't understand the purpose of the 3 images for counter top overhang. It's confusing.

You ask whether people think that counter tops are resistant to certain things or can withstand an impact from various objects , but you don't even have a section to know what sort of material people's counter tops are. That leaves a big gap in any sort of speculation.

Your other survey asks about information "by the companies you have encountered " in several questions, but just who has any experience with a company that makes counter tops? Even real estate people are clueless. Is it that common in Sweden?

Many people who own a house have more or less have interest in so-called "system-kitchn" (not a proper English word but Japanese coinage, which means built-in kitchen or integrated kitchen system) which includes worktops.
There are quite a few manufacturers such as Panasonic (I've been to their show room in central Tokyo), Yamaha, TOTO, etc.
