This platter has been in my family for a long time, Can anyone help identify the style and artist?

It seems like 岸山作; "Made by Kishiyama/Ganzan". I know nothing about the artist, though. If it's read Kishiyama, it's the artist's surname. If it's Ganzan, it's the given name or pseudonym.
