Hi from USA. I have this tube and think it is from WWII produced by Kawanishi Machine Works. If someone could help translate and provide any information available on this Vacuum Tube, it would be appreciated.

Here is the info I have. I do not know if it is correct, as I asked Google AI

The Japanese text on the vacuum tube reads 川西海空管 (Kawanishi Kai Kū Kan), which translates to Kawanishi Sea and Sky Tube. It also has the model number D-812
and the serial number 67158. The logo is the emblem of Kawanishi Machine Works, which was a Japanese aircraft and vacuum tube manufacturer.

Correct?

Thank you

Konnichiwa sparxxx-san!

Yes, this tube is produced by Kawanishi Machine Works:川西機械製作所. It has the Kawanishi Machine Works logo, so there's no doubt about it.

Kawanishi Machinery Works was a company that primarily manufactured communications equipment for the military, and also manufactured vacuum tubes used in communications equipment.

Wikipedia:川西機械製作所

I think your vacuum tube is a radio transmitter tube.

There is no Japanese term called "川西海空管". But I can make some predictions about this word.

川西:川西機械製作所(Kawanishi Machine Works)

海:海軍(Navy)

空:航空隊(Air Corps)

管:真空管(vacuum tube)

But I don't know if this prediction is correct.
