On my way to work this morning, I noticed this sign. I snapped this photo with my cell phone. It is put up by the Ashikaga Police Department and it's supposed to raise awareness for safe driving, I think...
It says, 「事故か（じこか）！地獄か（じごくか）！安全運転（あんぜんうんてん）」, Accident or Hell! Safe Driving. It is basically asking you to choose between getting into a trafic accident and going to hell. As much as I hate accidents ( I have been in a minor one quite recently and it was not pleasant), I really really don't want to go to hell... :? I don't know. I might just have to go with an accident here.
Btw, that dog almost bit my leg as I rode by on my bicycle. So rude! There'd better be a poop baggy in that fannypack, old man!
