Dear native English speakers,
do all the sentences below sound right?

About "as":
(1) As I walked in the park, I thought about my late wife.
(2) You will see the big tower on your right as you cross the bridge.
(3) As Mary and I walked along the shore, we ate ice cream.
(4) He smoked as he drove along the street.


About "feel":
(5) This towel feels smooth.
(6) His English accent feels different from any other Americans.
(7) His distant attitude felt strange to me.
(8) The air feels cold here in the cave.
(9) I feel these questions are too difficult for the students.
(10) How does it feel to have finished the big project?
(11) It feels like rain.
(12) I feel like a cup of coffee.
(13) I'm feeling my age these days.
(14) I don't feel up to going out on such a hot day.

The second term started yesterday and I started to make English exercises for my students again.
 
Yes, most are ok, I'm not sure why a towel would feel smooth, but it's not grammatically wrong.
An accent should "sound" something usually, not "feel". Also, not that it matters but if you say his "English" accent it sounds like you are implying a British accent, not his normal American one.

Oh, does "a towel feels smooth" sound funny? Then how about these?
(5b) This towel feels soft.
(5c) This towel feels warm.
(5d) This towel feels stiff.

Is the opposite of (5b) (5d)?

How about this?
(5B) His accent sounds different from any other American's.
 
Well, towels are supposed to be rough in order to dry you. I would go with "This towel feels warm". I would just say "this towel is..." for the other examples.

Yes, 5B looks good.
