Two flags from my father

I have inherited 2 flags from my father who was a US Marine serving during WWII on both Peleliu and Okinawa . He came across these flags while clearing caves. The Japanese soldiers had committed hari kari before the Marines entered the cave. I am curious to know if the flag owners can be identified. The first 2 pictures are front and back of one flag. The 3rd photo is front of the 2nd flag. Any assistance is appreciated.

The date the recipient of the first flag joined the army was December 14, 1944.
The recipient of the second flag is 寺澤輝雄 Terasawa Teruo. The date written on the flag is December, 1941.
The rest are all typical patriotic slogans and signatures.

Unfortunately, yes.
Incidentally, Mike-san pointed out that "hara kiri" means belly cutting/suicide, whereas "hari kari" in your post is needle borrowing.
