Can someone please check this sentence for me please?

The point I'm trying to get across is really like 'because I'm not good at Japanese yet, I'm sorry but I'm going to explain this in english'

This is for something at work like a speech type thing.

日本語がまだ上手じゃありませんので、英語で言います。

Should i use から or ので?

Rather than 言います、should i use 話すつもり or maybe 言うつもり?

Both から and ので work well, but ので is more appropriate since you are using polite forms. Also, 上手では sounds more polite/formal.
英語で言います can convey what you want to say correctly, but I would use 英語で説明しようと思います.
