I am looking to do business with a Japanese company, however I am really struggling in verifying them to ensure they are genuine. I need to find the equivalent of the UKs companies house. I was referred to the Beaureau (I can never spell that word) but it was just the front page and nothing to search through

I need to check they are registered, their financial history etc

Could anyone help me find out how to do that please

thank you

Telling us the name of the company and any information you have regarding their address, phone number, etc would be helpful.

They are a legitimately registered company. They have essentially zero net presence through a search on their name in Japanese. From their own site, if there are any Japanese people associated with the company it is impossible to tell.

They are located on the 5th floor of this building. If they are listed on the building signage at all it must be the small blurred-out white one near the bottom.

You should draw your own conclusions.

I really appreciate your kind help, thank you so very much, thank you

You're very welcome.

I have no idea how they do on investments placed with them. They may be the world's best or they may be the world's worst. I have no money to invest, but if I did I would want to invest it through a place where I could walk through their door and either speak with them or yell at them...as the situation required...without needing a plane ticket and a passport. That's just me, though.

Hi It is the other way around , they offered to invest in my company, but I wanted to know if they were genuine or had the financial history to prove they really are capable of investing as I am concerned in case they are not reputable.

They were brought to me by a UK source whom I have not worked with before and cannot find much back story on which made me think I needed to look into it more

Again though thank you so much for being so generous with your time

You might wish to consult with a professional at your bank or with some sort of certified financial advisor. Or if you don't have a good feeling about them and can afford to forego the investment, just turn them down politely.

I've wanted to find this out about another company previously and, as with the original poster of this thread, didn't know how to go about it. Apart from bothering you each time how can I find that out? Is there an online registry?

Now that I look at it a little more, you're right. I see that tbe company the OP asked about has only existed for 14 months.
It has been assigned a 法人番号 for 14 months, which, i believe is the date when the whole registry thing started. Most of the companies on the registry were assigned their number on October 5th 2015. It would be funny to assume that JR西 has only existed for 14 months judging only by the date of their 法人番号 assignment

Very good point. Thanks!

Hello everyone, i'm sorry if this is an old post, but I tried to use the link without success, and I want to ask a little hand to find if the company that I want to business with is legit. Can Someone please help me a little?
Company website:
About us / MUSUVI, Inc.

Everything seems legit, the customers care is so nice, and the website is build well, but I just want to be sure this is not a fraud.

Thanks a lot in advance.
