Am I correct in thinking that "どうして" is the interrogative here？

It is a question from a worksheet my tutor gave me, that coincides with my main textbook. She photocopies it for me so I can't tell you which book. The interrogatives include "どんな", "どう", "どれ", "どうして", "どこ" and "どなた".

Hmm, I guess you haven't learned the explanatry の yet(right?). The answer that is supposed to be correct is どうして, as you chose, but actually, にくをたべませんか sounds very awkward in that context. It should be にくをたべないんですか.

The only thing I know about about のis that it is a possessive particle.
