It's clear from the context that he means:
1) "I'd rather for you not to get hurt."
But assuming there was no context, it could be interpreted another way?
2) "I'd rather not get hurt by you"
Are these different usages of に? Or both are #10?
2) is simply 受身. 1) looks like 使役: "to have someone do xxx~" , but it's passive not causative. I'm confused.
( P.S. The new GOO design looks horrible )
