There's this dialog that I read on someone's blog, and I'm slightly unsure of what the last sentence means. Here it is:
俺が秋葉でみたカップル
ソフマップで目的の物が売り切れだったらしく、女はメソメ ソ。
男がポッケから白いハンカチ取り出して
「2番線お涙掃除列車通過いたしま~す」とか言って
彼女の頬と鼻なぞるように、拭いてた。
女「すき…」
俺は肩もげそうになった。
I assume that's 肩がもげそうになった, as in も・げる【×捥げる】, since there really isn't anything else I've seen that makes sense. But what's the connotation here? Is it a bad thing that his shoulder was metaphorically about to twist/fall off, or is this a good thing? It doesn't seem to be a set expression as far as I can tell.
