Meaning of 感慨深げ

If it is possible, please kindly, help me to find out meaning of 感慨深げ in the sentence below:

あるか無しかわからぬような繋がりであるが、くまはたいそう感慨深げに「縁」というような種類の言葉を駆使していろいろと述べた。

Maybe it is possible to translate whole sentence as

The relationship was not clear and hardly possible, yet the bear looked very [emotional?] and various usages of words like "fate" category were mentioned.

Just to make a context, in the prior sentence, bear said that protagonist has a relationship to a person with same family name.

Maybe 感慨深げ means very emotional but I am not sure. :?

Another difficulty is わからぬ.
I have translated as negative of わかる, but I still in doubt about exact meaning. I have not meet ～ぬ form before. :?

ぬ Is a classical negative form. Plenty of conversation on it in this forum even

深げ Is pretty interesting. Ive encountered it enough that I think it means "Kind of X" or "Rather X"。Such as: 強げな動物

I thought it was an alternate corruption of the classical き form, So, ふかき→ふかげ Instead of ふかき→ふかい。One interesting note is that all げ Adjectives seem to be なAdjectives. I could be wrong about the etymology though、I wonder if there is a good 古語 Site to explain all this...

There are similar げ words, but I think they may be unrelated：
健気、 大人気

However, they are also Na adjectives, so maybe they are related....

While its unclear to me if there even is a relationship or not, the bear told me many things with deep feeling, using lots of loaded words such as "fate".

on second thought, the idea that the bear is emotionally speaking is missing from the above...
I'm not sure how best to word it artfully without knowing the color of those emotions. Was the bear "animated", "fervent", "passionate", "hopeful" ? "emotional" alone seems to imply a state of sadness or regret.... this is why i gave up being a translator hehe

The whole story is written from point view of main character (who still remains unnamed). It was his speech (his thoughts actually) shortly after the bear mentioned that he must be a son of a person he knew before.

I think the bear experienced kind of deep hope feelings.
The bear was thinking that main character is somehow related to person who did good things to bear's parent in past. So this meeting was kind of "sign".

Although, I not sure if my understanding is correct.

First of all, the first part seems to be a typo of あるか無しかわからぬような繋がりであるが.

感慨深げ expresses that the bear has a deep impression about the relation between the protagonist(= the speaker/writer) and himself.

By the way, 川上弘美 is correct. She is a popular Akutagawa Prize author. (I like her novel センセイの鞄.)
