Baby Don't Cry

You know, you can find every track of Namei Amuro's Best Fiction CD on youtube. I'm not sure that's a good thing--she worked hard to make so we should be buying it to listen shouldn't we? Well, anyway, here's one of my favorite songs from the CD, Baby Don't Cry.

Wild

Amurarara has released a new song called "Wild" that's quite fitting for the queen of J hip-hop.

Her commerical for Coke-Zero featuring the song also fits her image. She says it's "kakko ii."

Best Fiction Concert Tour

Amurara is finishing up her Best Fiction Concert tour that began last year by the end of this month. So far, she's performed this concert in front of 450,000 fans. [So 450K time avg ticket price of say 6K yen on the conservative side, not to mention album sales--man, that's a lot of yen!]

Here's a video of her two and half hour performance in Yokohama Arena before 10,000 fans.

It's a recent collaboration with a group called Ravex, perhaps newer than Wild. FYI, the Ravex album includes collaborations with other artists such as BoA.

Of course, welcome!🙂 I know Amurara held concerts Shanghai and Taipei. Did she have one in Hong Kong, too?

BTW, I think Victoria Harbour is spectacular. :-) I hope Hong Kong keeps up with Shanghai as a visitor destination!

I hope she will come to hk even if she is not come for the concert :)
 
the (really) old song by Amuro-sama "Stop the Music" sounds really familiar... anyone know why? i may just be crazy... (if you've never heard it just ask and ill post a link)
 
Past<Future

Japan's Queen of Hip Hop seems to be turning towards R&B in her next album, Past<Future, due out shortly (12/16 in Japan).

There was a clip of one of her songs from the album on Youtube but it seems to have been pulled out.

So who here has listened to PAST > FUTURE? I'm a bit uneasy with Amuro's new musical direction, but I did enjoy many of the songs. Right now my favorite songs are FAST CAR and COPY THAT (first two songs in the album), Shut Up, WILD, and Dr.

Regardless of her new musical direction this was a great album, i very much enjoyed it.
Fav songs from new album; The Meaning Of Us, Love Game, and Fast Car.

if your looking to buy your music they have some stuff on itunes now (i dont know if you get itunes there or not).
a good website for purchasing your music: soundike.com (thats what i use). if your too poor or just not interested in spending your hard earned cash, asianload.com has some good links or if your know what you are looking for you can search for it on 4shared.com
that should get you started at least
(sorry for the bad grammar and what not, i cut my left hand at work today making typing a chore.)
