Honeymoon in Japan!

What up people? I am getting married this summer and will coming to Tokyo for my Honeymoon. I am super excited but I don't even know where to start looking for things to do. I have an idea, but I will be in Tokyo for 10 days and would like to know if anyone has any ideas or suggestions!

Whats the best way to get around? How much does the "subway" cost?

How far is it to Mt. Fuji?

Where are the coolest onsens?

Should I start learning Japanese now? How much do I need to know?

Go to the JNTO (Japan National Tourist Organization) website and request maps and brochures. They're free. It is only a couple of hours (give or take) to get to Mt. Fuji by train.

I suggest you get a japan rail pass. It's around 700 usd per person but you may enjoy every notable place in Japan. Go out in the country. Try whitewater canoeing. Ride a bike along the countrysides. Make this a special treat.
The food in Tokyo is very pricey. So be prepared to cook meals if you want to save money.

I've actually found the food in Japan, including Tokyo, to be on the cheap side. Yes you can break the bank on a meal, but there are so many restaurants that it's easy to find cheap meals of the highest quality. A simple set lunch/dinner consisting of traditional foods for under 1000 yen. I can't beat that if I go out to lunch or dinner here in Houston, Texas due to tax and tip. There are millions of people in Tokyo, and they often eat out. These millions aren't loaded - they are working stiffs like the rest of us. Meals are priced so that these working stiffs can afford them...

Thanks for the info! I thought $700 each was kinda pricey! I don't plan on spending $100 per meal so I will be looking to find good food for cheap
