This thread really made me feel happy!
Unfortunately I'm spending my birthday at my working place and the only candle-light-like glowing I get comes from the factory alarm lights but we had a really wonderful barbecue party a couple of days ago with family and friends.
I got lots of presents too!
It is funny how years seem to fly by faster as you get older. Might be funny for some older people to have it come from a 23-year old guy but it feels like it was not so long ago when I was eagerly waiting to get a driver's license or when I was coming to Japan for the first time over a year ago.. Where does all that time go!?

I'm feeling a little this way too, and I'm only 21. The faster time flies though, the sooner you'll be able to try living in Japan.
